Imagine VOLUNTARILY spending a day dealing with conflict! “On Fire Leadership” is a great combination of stories, theory, practice & role playing, practical tools & tips, and ‘connecting the dots’ between each of the topical sessions to come away charged up and confident about successfully addressing the inevitable – conflict. In post-meeting conversation with the other participants it was immediately clear that we all came away with a treasure chest of ideas about how best to deal with the issues that come up or that we must wade into as leaders. In addition, there were several books and other materials available in the back which amplified the points made during the session – so if I had a particularly vexing issue, I could get more detail immediately from one of the spot on materials. With any full day conference, the acid test for me is ‘was this worth my time?’ – the unqualified answer is that outcome of the day was like investing a dollar and getting back one hundred dollars in a day… and then kick yourself for not investing more at the outset (like bringing a developing leader along to the conference).
